Hello, i am olso a beginner and im going to buy a jg mp5.But i was wondering if you could tell me if its Ok and if should buy the full stock one ore the retracktable stock one?

Is the UMP45 “good” for a beginner?

I can’t see anything inherently wrong with the UMP, but for a first airsoft gun I’d probably suggest an MP5, M4 or AK47 simply because of the wide availability of parts. My biggest complaint with the UMP is its small battery compartment. The magazine is quite large though, so like I said, there is nothing that makes the UMP a bad gun…but there is a trade off in battery capacity.
